European Wax Center - UPMA Group in Texas is seeking a Wax Specialist to deliver full-body waxing with care and professional technique. You will work with guests to build trust, educate on waxing frequency, and guide product choices.

You’ll train in our Hub-let program, grow your skills, and pursue leadership paths while supporting a welcoming, high-energy environment that values service, safety, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Texas Esthetician or Cosmetologist license required.
• Comfort performing full-body waxing for men and women.
• Willingness to work at least one full weekend day weekly.
• Coachable and eager to master new techniques through training.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality waxing services for men and women using proprietary techniques.
• Learn from Regional Wax Trainers in a Hub-let training environment.
• Educate guests on waxing frequency and recommend products for home care.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized wax suite in compliance with Texas TD LR safety procedures.

A Day in the Life: Expert Service

• Full-Body Expertise: Perform high-quality waxing services for men and women following EWC’s proprietary techniques.

• The Hub Experience: Start your journey as a "Hub-let," learning from our Regional Wax Trainers in a collaborative, high-energy classroom environment.

• Education & Sales: Educate guests on the frequency of waxing and recommend EWC’s proprietary products to maintain their results at home.

• Suite Integrity: Maintain a clean, sanitized, and fully stocked wax suite in compliance with all Texas (TDLR) safety and health procedures.

Scheduling & Availability

• Dynamic Scheduling: This role requires flexibility to meet our guests' needs. You will work a variety of shifts and are required to work at least one full weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) every week.

What You Bring

• The License: A current Texas Esthetician or Cosmetologist license.

• The Vibe: You work hard, you’re honest, you’re punctual, and you light up the room!

• Comfort Level: You are open and comfortable performing all face and body waxing services for both male and female guests. * Note: While full-body waxing for all guests is required, performing Brazilian services for male guests is optional and involves specialized advanced training.

• The Mindset: You are coachable and eager to master new techniques through our world-class training.

What You Get

• Guaranteed Base + Tips + Uncapped Commission & Bonuses! You are always paid your hourly base ($9/hr) on top of your sales and tips.

• Earning Potential: New specialists typically earn $16-$19+ per hour (total comp) after training. Our top-tier specialists earn $20-$25+ per hour.
