Job summary

European Wax Center in Paramus, NJ is seeking an experienced Wax Specialist to deliver high-quality waxing services and exceptional guest experiences.

You will build a loyal client book, educate guests on products, maintain cleanliness, and uphold brand standards while working a flexible schedule including Mondays through Sundays.

Valid state Esthetician or Cosmetology license required; strong communication and attention to detail essential.

• Build a book of business and retain guests using our rebook scripts & delivering the ultimate guest experience and 100% guest satisfaction.
• Educate guests on European Wax Center product line to enhance their overall experience and results.
• Uphold the brand standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene in all waxing suites.
• Maintain Wax Specialist KPI according to brand standard.
• Contribute to a positive and professional work environment upholding Artemis Wax Core Values.
• Train and role model the expected behaviors and processes put forward by European Wax Center.

Responsibilities

Work Environment

• Must be able to work effectively in stressful environments, communicate with others and accept constructive feedback from direct supervisors.
• Must be able to adapt to change in activity frequently as the business requires.
• Most work performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled.
• Must be able to stand or sit at a desk for up to hours per day. Standing, walking, and sitting are required. Length of time at these tasks varies from day to day.
• Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with clients, co-workers, and management.
