Job summary

Stuller is seeking a Wax QA Technician to join our Wax Quality Assurance team in Lafayette, LA. You will perform initial inspections of injected/grown pieces to ensure they meet job specifications and quality standards.

Under the Wax Department Supervisor, you will verify items against jobs, update order information in the tracking system, and use Oracle for transaction steps. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

  • Basic math skills for accurate counting and verification of quantities.
  • Ability to view and handle small parts with precision.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial inspections on manufactured injected/grown parts and components to ensure quality.
  • Visually detect defects using a head visor or individual eye loop.
  • Make judgment calls on the severity of defects and the potential for future processing.
  • Select or describe the appropriate codes when products do not meet acceptable standards.
  • Use Oracle to transact operation steps
  • Physically move products throughout the department as needed.
  • Match injections/grown parts with their corresponding jobs.

The Wax Quality Assurance team ensures that products meet quality standards for both internal and external customers.

Under the leadership of the Wax Department Supervisor, the Wax QA Technician is responsible for performing initial inspections of injected/grown pieces, verifying that items match jobs, checking quantities and specifications, and updating order information in the tracking system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform initial inspections on manufactured injected/grown parts and components to ensure quality.
  • Visually detect defects using a head visor or individual eye loop.
