Job summary

The role requires careful attention to detail, dexterity with hot tools, and adherence to quality standards to support shelling and final assembly processes.

Qualifications

• Experience with wax pattern assembly preferred.
• Ability to read paperwork and technical instructions.
• Capable of using precision measuring tools accurately.

Responsibilities

• Follow department priorities and collect required wax patterns per paperwork.
• Process soluble cores in the dissolving bath as instructed.
• Assemble wax patterns into fully formed trees for shelling.
• Water weigh completed trees and document results as required.
• Repair parts and smooth surfaces with hot tools and wax.
• Use micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators for measurements.
• Rebuild parts to meet department and customer specifications.
• Perform final inspection before shelling takes over.
