Job summary

Precision Castparts in Mentor, Ohio, is seeking a dependable Wax Assembler to join our manufacturing team on the 3rd shift (10:30 PM – 6:30 AM). You will assemble wax patterns and components used in the investment casting process, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity.

The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, pays attention to detail, and thrives in a team environment. Prior manufacturing or wax assembly experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing, production, assembly, or related industrial experience preferred.
• Experience in investment casting, aerospace manufacturing, foundry operations, wax assembly, production assembly, or quality inspection is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wax patterns and components according to established procedures and specifications.
• Inspect wax assemblies for defects and quality concerns.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment to complete assembly operations.
• Record production and quality data as required.
• Maintain accurate daily time and production records.
• Handle materials safely and follow all company safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.
• Follow all quality standards and work instructions.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
