Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in wax injection molding, plastic injection molding, or investment casting a plus, but not required — willing to train the right candidate.
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–50 lbs.
• Comfortable working around heat and molten wax.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor wax injection molding machines according to work instructions and production schedules.
• Inject wax into dies/molds to produce patterns for the investment casting process.
• Inspect finished wax patterns for defects such as flash, short shots, warping, or surface imperfections.
• Perform minor die/mold changes and adjustments as needed.
• Trim, clean, and assemble wax patterns onto trees/sprues as required.
• Maintain accurate production records, including part counts and quality checks.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Report equipment malfunctions or quality issues to the shift supervisor promptly.
• Meet or exceed daily production and quality targets.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor wax injection molding machines according to work instructions and production schedules
• Inject wax into dies/molds to produce patterns for the investment casting process
