Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Wax Injection Mold Machine Operator to operate wax injection molding equipment used to produce precision patterns and related components for aerospace manufacturing. You will set up machines, load dies and tooling, monitor temperature and cycle parameters, and inspect finished parts to ensure quality and safety standards.

Shift: 2nd shift, Monday-Friday 1:30p-9:30p; Shift differential: $2.00. Training may require varying schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ months of manufacturing, machine operation, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate machinery safely.
• Knowledge of production processes and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate wax injection molding machines following instructions.
• Prepare and install dies, cores, and tooling for production runs.
• Load materials and monitor temperature, pressure, and cycle parameters.
• Produce wax patterns and related components to quality standards.
• Inspect finished parts and perform minor cleaning or deflashing as needed.
• Obtain and verify x-ray results for cored patterns when required.
• Complete production paperwork and sign off on routers.
• Perform daily TPM checks and maintain equipment and work areas.
• Transfer completed parts to the next operation and communicate quality concerns.

Job Summary

We're looking for a Wax Injection Mold Machine Operator to operate wax injection molding equipment used to produce precision wax patterns, gating, sprues, and related components for aerospace manufacturing. This role supports production by setting up and operating molding equipment, inspecting finished parts, and ensuring quality, safety, and process standards are met.

Training: During the training period, employees may be required to work a schedule outside of their regularly assigned shift to support hands‑on learning and development. Training is typically conducted Monday through Friday and may occur on first, second, or third shift based on business needs. Upon successful completion of training, employees will transition to their assigned shift.

• Transfer completed parts to the next operation and communicate quality concerns or production issues.
• Follow all safety, quality, and standard work requirements.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ months of manufacturing, machine operation, production, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to clearly communicate in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and understanding work instructions.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to safely operate machinery and tooling.
• Knowledge of production processes and quality standards.
• Ability to monitor machine performance and recognize process issues.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform visual inspections.
• Good hand dexterity and ability to perform repetitive, precision tasks.
