Job summary

Howmet Aerospace has an immediate opening for a Wax Finishing Team Lead in our Patterns Business Center at our Engines Products - Cleveland Operations Tempcraft facility located at 3960 S. Marginal Rd. in Cleveland.

This position is responsible for the ensuring the flow of work through a production area and making sure that quality parts are being produced in the quantities specified in the schedule. The Wax Finishing Team Lead works hands-on on the manufacturing floor, training operators on

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent
• Able to pass an annual eye exam per Jaeger
• Experience as a trainer/lead/supervisor is preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift activities to ensure standard processes and on-schedule production
• Manage resources to meet the production schedule
• Provide on-the-spot training and feedback on safety, quality and productivity
• Be available for overtime and weekend support
• Serve as back-up shift trainer
• Ensure smooth shift start-up and shutdown
• Uphold safe work practices and EHS policies
• Familiar with department work instructions
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
