Job summary

DSV Houston is seeking a Warehouse Operator, Capacity/Wave Planner for 1st shift to direct and optimize freight flow within the private supply chain, grouping, sequencing, and releasing orders to meet carrier departure schedules.

The role requires experience with WMS, strong data analytics, and the ability to coordinate with warehouse teams. Overtime may be required; base pay ranges from $21.53 to $26.91 hourly, with full-time hours in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in supply chain capacity planning or wave planning.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office, and strong WMS skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, release, and monitor warehouse orders using the WMS.
• Plan and release daily warehouse waves based on order volume and carrier schedules.
• Coordinate with warehouse, inventory, picking, packing, shipping, and transportation teams.
• Monitor throughput and on-time shipment performance; adjust waves as needed.
