Job description

We are looking for staff members who want to join a fun, diverse team of SLPs that are 40+ strong. We are a learning district where training is topnotch, even for veteran SLPs. We learn from each other and lean on the strengths and expertise that each individual brings to the table. We are an SLP led department by 2 SLPs, one of which would be your evaluator. Most districts utilize principals and assistant principals for this role, but we lean on the technical knowledge of our lead SLPs for this aspect of professional growth coaching.

We are hiring specifically for Clearview Elementary School in Waukegan Public School District #60. This is a full time position within a single building. Travel between buildings will be required for monthly speech meetings and district training days.

Clearview Elementary School houses many of our special education classrooms from medically fragile students to structured teaching classrooms along with regular education students who are eligible for speech and language services in the schools.
