Salary: $17.15/hr

Overview of the University

Primary Duties
  1. Welcomes guests and students, greeting them in person or on the phone, and handling inquiries about nursing programs.
  2. Reports to the Nursing Office Manager.
  3. Answers phones, takes messages, and directs inquiries.
  4. Greets all visitors to the nursing department.
  5. Assists with miscellaneous projects and maintains organized bulletin boards and office space.
  6. Distributes mail daily and runs department errands.
  7. Uses office equipment like Xerox and fax machines.
  8. Maintains student files in coordination with relevant departments.
  9. Provides information to students regarding studies, degrees, and admission prerequisites.
  10. Assists the Admissions and Progressions Coordinator with projects weekly.
Qualifications
  1. Professional dress and communication skills.
  2. Reliability and punctuality.
  3. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  5. Accurate phone message taking.
  6. Must be a WAU student and non-nursing major.
