About The Role

The Night Auditor is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer care during overnight shifts. Responsibilities include conducting audits, balancing accounts, and reporting on various hotel departments (e.g., food and beverage, rooms, front desk, gift shop) to provide accurate financial data on the hotel's daily performance. The role requires acting as the Manager on Duty (MOD) during the overnight shift from 11pm to 7am on Fridays and Saturdays. This part-time position is suitable for experienced Night Auditors or Guest Service Agents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audit, balance, and report on hotel operations to deliver timely financial insights.
  • Oversee front desk operations during the overnight shift, including guest check-ins and check-outs.
  • Serve as acting MOD, handle guest complaints, and manage service recovery.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Adhere to credit card and cash handling policies.
  • Prepare financial summaries of cash, check, and credit card activities.
  • Post room charges and taxes to guest accounts accurately.
  • Secure guest information and maintain safety protocols.
  • Uphold Hilton Brand Standards consistently.
Additional Requirements
  • Verify accuracy of front office accounting records and compile financial reports.
  • Monitor room revenues, occupancy, and other operational statistics.
  • Ensure proper account postings and balances.
  • Operate front office equipment proficiently.
  • Communicate professionally with guests and staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Experience in hotel auditing or GSA roles required.
  • Accounting background is a plus.
  • Hilton brand experience preferred.
