Job summary

Ferrovial/Webber is seeking a heavy equipment operator to support roadways and bridge construction in Texas. The role involves operating motor graders, excavators, bulldozers, and other machinery with hydraulic attachments, while upholding safety standards and guiding less experienced team members on-site.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED (preferred), 3+ years of construction experience, and a Texas driver’s license with endorsements as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Three or more years related construction experience preferred.
• Texas Driver License with proper endorsements, depending on assignment.

Responsibilities

• Operate motor grader, excavator, bulldozer, and/or other heavy equipment used in the construction of bridges and roadways.
• May also be equipped with various hydraulic attachments.
• Signal truck driver to position truck to facilitate loading of dirt, rocks, and other materials.
• Take actions to avoid potential hazards and obstructions such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, and falling objects.
• Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
