Job summary

HD Fowler Company is seeking a full-time Branch Estimator in Utah, preferably in Spanish Fork, Ogden, or Salt Lake City. You will independently prepare takeoffs, coordinate bids with the sales team, and manage the bid process with engineers and vendors to ensure accurate estimates.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years’ experience estimating for waterworks, strong math and computer skills, and the ability to read plans and elevations.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience as a waterworks estimator for HD Fowler or in a related field.
• Strong math and computer skills with attention to detail.
• Able to read blueprints including plan & profile views, elevations, topographical, etc.

Responsibilities

• Independently complete accurate takeoffs with specifications and pricing.
• Identify and qualify upcoming bids and coordinate with sales to design bid strategies.
• Follow up on bids and assist with job tracking and updating bid board.
• Prepare detailed and itemized material quantity estimates from plans.
• Collaborate with engineers and vendors on project questions and changes.
