Job summary

Waterproofing Company in Los Angeles is seeking a capable construction helper to install waterproofing membranes, trenching, and basic plumbing on active job sites. You will prep surfaces, detail penetrations, and work safely with a crew outdoors.

The role involves patching and repairs ahead of pre-pour inspections, coordinating with inspectors and general contractors, and documenting field work on a phone or tablet.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in construction; waterproofing, roofing, concrete, or membrane experience is a plus
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all conditions
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Shows up on time, communicates clearly, and works well with a crew
• OSHA 10/30 a plus; assistance to obtain if needed
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Install waterproofing membranes, trenching, and some plumbing
• Prep surfaces — cleaning, patching, priming, and detailing penetrations
• Perform patch and repair work ahead of pre-pour inspections
• Work alongside inspectors, general contractors, and other trades on active job sites
• Document work in the field using a phone or tablet (photos, field notes, daily reports)
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
