Job summary

EXTERIOR DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES INC in Apex, NC is seeking a waterproofing installer/technician to support the application of waterproofing treatments and associated work. The role involves leak investigations, water testing, and repairs for water intrusion, using equipment to access high and hard-to-reach areas.

Training is provided and safety procedures must be followed. The ideal candidate has 0-3 years in waterproofing or related field, can lift up to 25 kg, and demonstrates a strong work

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience in waterproofing or related field.
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25 kg.
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation to complete tasks.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to work extended and non-standard hours as required.
• Valid driver’s license is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Install waterproofing treatment and assist in application.
• Perform leak investigations, water testing and repairs for water infiltration.
• Install waterproofing using equipment per procedures and practices.
• Assist in waterproofing applications with various coatings and chemicals.
• Perform exterior repairs for concrete, masonry, sealant, and waterproofing issues.
• Access work areas using boom lifts, scissor lifts, scaffolds, ladders, or bosun chair.
• Ensure tools and equipment are in working order and arrange replacements if needed.
• Adhere to health, safety practices and applicable laws and codes.

Job Summary:Responsible for the installation of various waterproofing treatment and assist in waterproofing application and workDuties/Responsibilities:Waterproofing & Concrete workPerform Leak Investigations, Water testing & repairs for water infiltrationInstall waterproofing treatment using equipment in accordance with established procedures and practicesAssist in waterproofing application and work with a range of waterproofing chemicals and coating productsPerform minor exterior repairs for concrete, masonry, sealant, and waterproofing issues on buildings and parking structuresAccess to work areas may require the use of boom lifts, scissor lifts, swing stage, scaffolds, ladders, or bosun chair, to reach great heights inside and outside of buildings under construction.
