Job summary

Massanutten Resort is seeking a self-motivated Custodian to join the Massanutten WaterPark team on the second shift. You will maintain public areas and restrooms, perform vacuuming, mopping, trash removal, and routine cleaning while practicing safe handling of cleaning chemicals.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but training offered.
• Attention to detail.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
• Proficient with custodial equipment and supplies.
• Excellent verbal and written communications.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Maintain public areas and restrooms in clean, orderly condition.
• Remove trash and vacuum; mop and polish floors as needed.
• Follow safe chemical handling and cleaning procedures.
• Will train the right candidate.

Job Summary

Maintain public areas, restrooms, or other assigned areas in clean and orderly condition. Remove trash, vacuum, mopping, stripping and polishing, etc. Practices safe work habits through the appropriate use of chemicals, equipment and cleaning applications. (Will train the right candidate).

Requirements

• Previous custodial experience preferred, but will train
• Attention to detail
• Have working knowledge of cleaning methods, material, and equipment (Preferred)
• Proficient in the use of custodial equipment and cleaning supplies (Preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• High school or GED (preferred)
• Must be at least 18 years old

Rotating Four-Week Schedule

• Week One: Monday through Friday | Off: Saturday & Sunday
• Week Two: Monday, Thursday through Sunday | Off: Tuesday & Wednesday
• Week Three: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, & Sunday | Off: Monday & Friday
• Week Four: Monday through Thursday, & Sunday | Off: Friday & Saturday
