Job summary

Massanutten Resort is seeking a self-motivated Custodian to join the Massanutten WaterPark team. Maintain public areas, restrooms and other assigned areas in clean condition; perform trash removal, vacuuming, mopping and routine cleaning.

The role emphasizes safe use of chemicals and equipment; training will be provided for the right candidate. The position is full-time with a rotating four-week schedule and the hours are 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience preferred, but will train.
• Attention to detail required.
• Working knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain public areas, restrooms and other assigned areas in clean and orderly condition.
• Remove trash, vacuum, mop, strip and polish floors as needed.
• Practice safe work habits with chemicals and cleaning supplies; training provided for good candidates.

Job Summary

Maintain public areas, restrooms, or other assigned areas in clean and orderly condition. Remove trash, vacuum, mopping, stripping and polishing, etc. Practices safe work habits through the appropriate use of chemicals, equipment and cleaning applications. (Will train the right candidate).

Requirements

• Previous custodial experience preferred, but will train
• Attention to detail
• Have working knowledge of cleaning methods, material, and equipment (Preferred)
• Proficient in the use of custodial equipment and cleaning supplies (Preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• High school or GED (preferred)
• Must be at least 18 years old

• Week One: Monday through Friday | Off: Saturday & Sunday
• Week Two: Monday, Thursday through Sunday | Off: Tuesday & Wednesday
• Week Three: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, & Sunday | Off: Monday & Friday
• Week Four: Monday through Thursday, & Sunday | Off: Friday & Saturday
