Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Construction Inspector for Waterline, Sewer and Pavement Restoration to join our PSI team in Pittsburgh, PA. The role focuses on ensuring quality, safety and compliance on critical infrastructure projects in the A/E/C industry.

The successful candidate will inspect and monitor waterline and pavement restoration activities, read engineering drawings, and document daily progress. A valid driver’s license and relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in waterline and sewer construction and pavement restoration inspections.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor waterline installation, repair and replacement projects for compliance with plans, specifications and safety standards.
• Oversee pavement restoration activities ensuring proper materials, compaction and finish quality.
• Document daily progress, prepare inspection reports and communicate findings to the supervisor.
