Job summary

Materion Newton site is seeking a Water Jet Cutter and Ultrasonic Test Operator for the 3rd shift (Sunday–Friday, 10:30pm–7:00am). You will operate and maintain the water jet cutter and ultrasonic test tank, supporting Mill Products and Fabrication while ensuring quality.

The role requires a high school or vocational degree with at least 3 years in manufacturing; metalworking experience preferred; strong measurement skills with decimals and fractions; good safety awareness and log maintenance.

Qualifications

• Requires high school or vocational degree or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Metalworking experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of decimals, fractions, and measuring equipment is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Water Jet Cutter and related systems.
• Operate and maintain Ultrasonic Test tank and related systems.
• Support Mill Products and Fabrication operations as needed.
• Maintain logs for WJC/UT.
• Perform minor equipment repairs and adjustments.
• Follow safety rules and quality standards.
