Job summary

Materion Corporation is seeking a 3rd shift operator (Sunday-Friday, 10:30pm - 7:00am) to perform waterjet cutting, ultrasonic testing, and related support tasks in a metal manufacturing environment.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years in manufacturing; metalworking experience preferred and strong measuring skills. Must follow safety rules and maintain logs and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Requires high school or vocational degree or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Metal working experience is preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of decimals, fractions, and measuring equipment is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains the Water Jet Cutter and associated support systems.
• Operates and maintains the Ultrasonic Test tank and associated support systems.
• Supports operations in Mill Products and Fabrication as required.
• Maintains all required logs associated with the WJC/UT.
• Performs minor equipment repair and adjustments.
• Follows prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintains high quality standards.
