Night Shift Position: A 10% shift differential will be added to the base hourly rate.

Job Description

Reporting to the Waterjet Quality Manager, the Waterjet Inspector will be responsible for inspecting aerospace / gas turbine engine components for compliance with engineering drawings, customer requirements, and company specifications. They will approve items within specifications and recommend disposition of items not meeting standards, adhering to all quality standards.

Requirements

• Ability to use standard gauges (micrometers, height gauges, calipers, etc.)
• Strong math background
• HS Diploma or equivalent with documentation
• Meet ITAR definition of US Person(s) with documentation
• Demonstrated ability to perform inspections and interpret results
• Ability to interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in MS Office
• Participate in cross-training with other departments
• Follow verbal and written instructions in English
• Clear verbal and written communication skills in English
• 20/25 vision (natural or corrected)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willingness to perform overtime, including weekends
• Willingness to work swing shifts if required
• Ongoing FAA testing and training mandatory
• Successful FAA drug testing required due to safety sensitivity

Preferable Experience

Experience with visual, airflow, and dimensional inspections of aerospace / gas turbine components is preferred.

Physical Demands/Work Environment

Employees must stand, use hands, reach, move throughout the facility, and communicate regularly. Must lift/move up to 35 pounds. Vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Work environment may be loud. Personal Protective Equipment must be used. Accommodations available for disabilities.
