Moffatt & Nichol specializes in large complex waterfront infrastructure projects and is recognized as one of the worldwide leaders in this field.Be the first Marine/Waterfront Structural Engineer at our NEW OFFICE located in Jacksonville, FL. We have an existing backlog of significant, high-profile projects in the local area and beyond! As the successful new hire, you will have an extensive Marine/Waterfront Structural background providing engineering, planning, design, and analysis activities for major waterfront, port and maritime infrastructure projects.
You will be responsible for managing and implementing all phases of design for a broad range of marine infrastructure projects, including piers and repairs for the US Navy, large marine terminals, marinas, vessel mooring and berthing structures, bulkheads, breakwaters, shore protection, and storm/flood resiliency structures and more. You will have 8 to 15 years of experience working from conceptual development through the details of the design process. This position will serve as a senior engineer who will actively participate in structural design, perform design quality control, resolve technical matters, and engage with our clients to develop optimized design solutions.
