Job summary

The City of Burlington, Vermont, seeks a Marina Operations Supervisor to oversee the Dockmasters, Waterfront Supervisors and the day-to-day operations of the two municipal marinas. You will work with the Marina Manager to ensure efficient cash handling and deposits, and you will schedule dockmasters and supervisors for seasonal coverage.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Valid Boater's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule dockmasters and supervisors for shifts and ensure proper coverage.
• Train dockmasters and supervisors at season start and as needed.
• Perform daily cash-outs and manage deposits within 24 hours.
• Oversee maintenance and cleaning of facilities and pumpouts.
• Supervise two work vessels, harbor and moorings, and transient dockage.
• Process other POS operations (pump outs, hourly).
• Ensure water safety and comply with park and harbor rules.
