Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Waterfront Manager in the Maritime Readiness Division to oversee waterfront modernization, maintenance, and repair activities for a Foreign Military Sale Navy program.

You will coordinate shipyard interfaces, manage a diverse waterfront workforce, and ensure safe, timely execution aligned with technical requirements and program schedules. Strong export experience and willingness to travel internationally are highly valued; active clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing complex Navy/shipyard projects.
• Experience in naval shipbuilding/overhauls in public or private shipyards.
• Experience managing large and diverse teams of professionals and industrial workers.
• Experience with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs.
• Strong technical writing, editing, analytical and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work on vessels in port or other maritime environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day waterfront execution of Navy FOTS ship, submarine, and combat systems installation, modernization, repair and overhaul activities.
• Serve as the primary on-site interface for waterfront activities with shipyard personnel, Government representatives, ship’s force, contractors and subcontractors.
• Manage a diverse waterfront workforce across multiple trades and schedules.
• Develop, manage and monitor waterfront production schedules, milestones, dependencies and resource requirements.
• Coordinate shipboard installation, testing, maintenance and modernization across workstreams and trades.
• Monitor progress and resolve schedule, material, and sequencing issues; escalate as needed.
• Lead waterfront planning meetings, drawing reviews, production reviews and status meetings; track actions to completion.
• Ensure waterfront activities comply with all safety, environmental, and contractual requirements.
