Job summary

Bally's Waterfront NYC at Ferry Point is hiring a Line Cook for a fast-paced back-of-house kitchen in the Bronx, NY. This part-time role offers an hourly rate of $17 with opportunities for advancement and benefits.

You will prepare foods, sauces and garnishes, ensure timely service, communicate with teammates, maintain a clean workstation, and multitask in a high-volume environment while delivering quality meals.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced kitchen environments preferred.
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
• Strong teamwork and communication with kitchen staff and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food, sauces and garnishes for service. Including tasks such as chopping vegetables, cooking proteins, and preparing sauce
• Ensure timely preparation of all food items for service
• Effective communication with team members and supervisors
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of their station throughout preparation and service
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment and being able to put out quality food while keeping your composer
