Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

We’re looking for a dedicated aquatic professional to help create a safe, fun, and unforgettable swim experience for every child who steps onto our waterfront. If you are looking for a job this summer that lets you be outside and enjoy the warm weather while it lasts, come to Camp Tracy and monitor the campers as they have fun in the water at McGrath Pond!

• Maintain a safe swim program for the campers of the YMCA Day Camp at Camp Tracy
• Provide oversight and ensure safety for all program participants at all times while in the water and at the waterfront.
• Assist in organizing and administering a well-rounded aquatics program including swim lessons, free swim, and other outside rental opportunities.
• Keep accurate and thorough records of attendance and participation for open swims.
• Keep waterfront areas neat and orderly.
• Recommend needed supplies and equipment necessary for maintenance and safety standards to be met for proper functioning of swim area.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun experience for campers on the Waterfront during Camp Tracy.
