Job summary

Thompson Hospitality's YOT Bar & Kitchen in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Bartender to craft cocktails and deliver top-tier beverage service along the waterfront dining experience.

You will handle a busy bar, check IDs, and collaborate with a friendly team to create memorable guest experiences. Minimum 6 months cocktail experience and certification in responsible alcohol service are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience.
• Able to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Must be of legal age to prepare, serve, and ring alcoholic beverages.
• Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and some holidays.
• Certified in responsible alcohol service as required by local law.
• Able to communicate effectively in the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Craft and serve a variety of cocktails and beverages with precision and creativity.
• Engage with guests, providing friendly and knowledgeable service, and suggesting drink pairings.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring proper handling of glassware and equipment.
• Check identification and enforce age restrictions to ensure responsible alcohol service.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere for our guests.
