YMCA Camp Cosby seeks an Aquatics Director to oversee all waterfront and pool activities, supervise lifeguards, and mentor staff. You will coordinate waterski and other specialty activities, uphold safety standards, and ensure equipment is cared for daily.

This role requires strong leadership and a passion for campers’ growth. The position emphasizes safety, training, and a positive camp culture, with responsibilities spanning incident reporting, scheduling, and collaboration with camp leaders

Qualifications

• Current lifeguard certification required.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Two years of prior experience with children in a camp setting preferred.
• Ability to obtain or maintain boating certifications as needed.

Responsabilités

• Lead aquatic staff and lifeguards; supervise water activities.
• Plan and schedule waterski/wakeboard and other aquatic programs.
• Ensure safety policies and ACA/health standards are followed.
• Mentor staff, build positive camper staff culture, and monitor incidents.
