Prevailance, Inc. is looking for an experienced Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (EMT‑B) to support the Center for Security Forces in Virginia Beach, VA. The EMT will act as an Instructor and Administrative Assistant to the Site Lead, providing emergency medical support during high-risk training and ensuring contractors maintain their CPR/AED certifications. Qualifications

• NREMT or State of California Certified as an Emergency Medical Technician - Basic, or higher.
• Certified to instruct CPR/AED.
• Qualified as a Second-Class Swimmer per NETC standards.

Responsibilities

• Support CENSECFOR as an EMT-B at Learning Site Little Creek.
• Provide emergency medical support during high-risk training evolutions.
• Keep contractors current with CPR/AED qualifications.

Description

This position is currently filled, however we are accepting applications for Ready Replacement Pool consideration.

Prevailance is seeking an experienced, mission-focused professional to support Center for Security Forces (CENSECFOR) as an Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (EMT‑B) at Learning Site Little Creek, in Virginia Beach, VA. The EMT shall be an Instructor / Administrative assistant to the Site Lead, and will provide emergency medical support during all high‑risk training evolutions. They will also keep all contractors current with CPR/AED qualifications when not being used for training evolutions. Travel may be required.

Requirements

• NREMT or State of California Certified as an Emergency Medical Technician - Basic, or higher
• Certified to instruct CPR/AED
• Second‑Class Swimmer qualified per NETC P1552/16 standards (must demonstrate water survival proficiency through a deep‑water jump, a 100‑yard swim, a 5‑minute prone float, and shirt/trouser inflation for buoyancy)

Preferred

• ARC certified Lifeguard
• Military Rescue Swimmer

Clearance

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
