Overview

Prevailance is seeking an experienced, mission-focused professional to support Center for Security Forces (CENSECFOR) as an Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (EMT-B). The full‑time EMT-B contractor will be part of all underway training and will serve as the Administrative assistant to the Contract Site Lead. The EMT will provide emergency medical support during all high‑risk training evolutions and keep all contractors current with CPR/AED qualifications when not being used for training evolutions. Travel may be required. This position is currently filled, however we are accepting applications for Ready Replacement Pool consideration.

Requirements

The Emergency Medical Technician must have the following qualifications:

• National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) or State of California Certified as an Emergency Medical Technician - Basic, or higher
• Certified to instruct CPR/AED
• Second‑Class Swimmer qualified per NETC P1552/16 standards (must demonstrate water survival proficiency through a deep‑water jump, a 100‑yard swim, a 5‑minute prone float, and shirt/trouser inflation for buoyancy)

Desired:

• ARC certified Lifeguard
• Military Rescue Swimmer

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
