Aqua, an Essential Utilities company, has a great opportunity for a Utility Technician in the Wimberley, TX area. This role supports the repair and upgrade of water distribution and wastewater systems, delivers customer service, and maintains facilities.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a CDL within 90 days of hire. Physical duties include lifting up to 50 lbs and operating various equipment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs semi-skilled installation, maintenance and repair of valves, meters, gauges, pumps, and related equipment in water and wastewater systems.
• Operates and maintains vehicles and equipment in accordance with procedures.
• Loads and unloads equipment and supplies at worksites.
• Reads meters as needed and updates work orders in the system.
• Ensures safety policies and housekeeping standards are followed.
