Job summary

Allied Staff Augmentation Partners is seeking a Utilities Project Manager to oversee water and wastewater construction projects from contract through startup and warranty termination. A minimum of 3 years engineering experience is required, with preference for water/wastewater design work.

Primary location on the east side of North Carolina with some site travel is expected. You will lead complex projects, maintain budgets and schedules, and coordinate with inspectors and stakeholders to deliver

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience, with a preference for water/wastewater project and design experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field.
• PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complex projects, ensuring goals, timelines, and budgets are met.
• Develop and maintain detailed progress reports for internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Lead project development from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery.
• Hire, supervise, evaluate, and discipline Construction Inspectors as needed.
• Manage procurement of engineering proposals and monitor budgets.
• Track all financials, including hours and expenses.
• Coordinate daily project activities and align tasks with objectives.
• Process and submit project-related paperwork to VP of Operations.
• Ensure projects stay within time and budget constraints and escalate issues.
