Job summary

Dewberry is seeking a Water/Wastewater Staff Engineer in our Jacksonville, FL office to support a growing civil engineering practice. The role involves assisting with projects across treatment, collection, and distribution systems, and collaborating with multi-office design teams to deliver detailed construction documents.

Qualified candidates hold a B.S. in engineering ( Environmental/Mechanical/Civil/Chemical ) with 2–5 years of public sector water/wastewater experience; MS preferred;

Qualifications

• BS degree in Environmental, Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering; MS preferred.
• 2–5 years of progressive responsibilities in public water/wastewater projects.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; GIS and modeling familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and managing water/wastewater projects focused on treatment, collection, and distribution systems.
• Collaborate with design teams across offices and disciplines to produce detailed construction documents.
• Meet client deadlines and project budgets.
