Job summary

Inframark is seeking a Pump Technician to maintain and repair pumps and related equipment across our water and wastewater systems. This hands-on role focuses on keeping boosters, lift stations, and treatment facilities operating safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience with pumps and mechanical maintenance, knowledge of VFDs and electrical troubleshooting, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience maintaining pumps, motors, or industrial mechanical equipment.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain pumps, motors, valves, and related equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on booster and lift stations and treatment facilities.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using specialized tools.
• Disassemble, rebuild, install, and align pumps and rotating equipment.
• Replace bearings, seals, and couplings as needed.
• Support installation and startup of new pumps, motors, controls, and upgrades.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and drawings.
• Complete work orders, maintenance records, and inspection reports accurately.
• Respond to emergency repairs and equipment breakdowns.
