Job summary

Kleinfelder's New England Water Team seeks a Water/Wastewater Project Professional to support the growing water resources market in New England. You will apply your technical expertise to deliver water/wastewater projects while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team across multiple offices.

HYBRID work is supported; offices include Boston, Springfield, Worcester, and other NE locations. Candidates should have 10+ years of experience and strong communication/leadership skills with a PE

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of related experience.
  • Strong technical leadership in water/wastewater projects.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and technical writing skills.
  • Professional Engineering Registration preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance and design solutions for water and/or wastewater projects.
  • Contribute to technical, cost, and scheduling efforts while upholding quality standards.
  • Direct and coordinate water/wastewater activities with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Coordinate with regulatory and funding agencies.
  • Participate in project scoping, proposals, budgeting, and client interactions.
  • Work with clients, staff engineers, designers and subconsultants.

Step Into Your New Role

As a Water/Wastewater Project Professional joining our New England Water Team, you will support our growing water resources market in New England through the successful collaboration with our water and/or wastewater team. You will work in a team-oriented environment, primarily leveraging your technical expertise to develop technical solutions for a wide range of projects in the water/wastewater space through the application of engineering knowledge and skills to support project delivery. Much of our team enjoys a hybrid schedule, which allows us to offer this role in any of our New England offices:

  • Boston, MA
  • Springfield, MA
  • Worcester, MA
  • Rocky Hill, CT
  • Portland, ME
  • Manchester, NH
Responsibilities
  • Successfully contributes to projects by providing technical guidance, design and skill-based solutions for water and/or wastewater clients to deliver a full range of water-related engineering services.
  • Participate in technical, cost, and scheduling efforts, ensuring company quality standards (including internal quality control and risk management protocols such as peer reviews), and driving customer value.
  • Direct and coordinate water/wastewater activities including those with complex, multi-disciplinary involvement.
  • Coordinate with regulatory and funding agencies.
  • Participate in technical/project scoping activities and proposal presentations with targeted clients.
  • Assist in direction of project planning, budgeting, and establishing critical project objectives.
  • Work with clients, staff engineers, designers and subconsultants.
Qualifications
  • B.S. in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of related experience.
  • Strong technical expertise, specifically in municipal water and/or wastewater engineering and be fully capable of providing technical leadership and direction to project teams.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and technical writing skills.
  • Candidates with a Professional Engineering Registration are preferred

Massachusetts: The expected salary range for the position is displayedin accordance withthe Massachusetts Wage Transparency Act. Finalagreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.Salary range: $116,000 - $197,000.
