Job summary

RESPEC seeks a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join our AK Water team, based in Juneau or Fairbanks, AK. The role focuses on leading projects, coordinating with clients and regulatory agencies, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions for water/wastewater infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in water and wastewater design, project management, and client relations, with 10–15 years of experience and a PE license or ability to obtain within a year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or related field.
• 10–15 years of relevant water/wastewater engineering experience.
• PE license or ability to attain within one year.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage water/wastewater infrastructure projects from concept through completion.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to ensure project success.
• Prepare and review design plans, technical reports, and specifications.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
• Support business development efforts and proposal preparation.
