Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a qualified Project Manager with 10+ years of experience in planning, designing, permitting and construction of drinking water and wastewater projects. The role emphasizes client development and management, supported by regional offices and firm-wide resources.

The position is based in Nashville, TN, with fieldwork and occasional travel. Candidates should hold a PE license and a B.S.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater planning, design, permitting and construction.
• Experience leading interdisciplinary teams to meet client needs.
• Experience delivering municipal water and wastewater projects from planning through construction.

Responsibilities

• Project management and supervision of staff.
• Lead business development including proposals and presentations.
• Develop and manage client relationships in the Nashville, TN office.
• Prepare assessment and design reports and perform design calculations.
• Size equipment and prepare construction documents; support construction management/commissioning.
• Travel for site visits as needed; focus on Tennessee projects.
