Job Description




Dewberry is seeking a Project Manager in our Rancho Cordova or Manteca, CA office to contribute to and/or manage a wide range of challenging Water/Wastewater projects. This is an opportunity for an individual to join a team of energetic, highly engaged professionals in Dewberry's growing Water Services line. The ideal candidate will have a prominent role on our team, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work with clients and engineers and other technicians on a variety of water and wastewater projects from planning through final design, construction, and commissioning. With support from the enterprise, the successful candidate will be capable of participating in business development activities, and preparing project work plans and fee estimates.

Responsibilities




    Prepare technical memoranda, feasibility studies, and engineering reports
  • Prepare hydraulic/process calculations
  • Plan and design water, wastewater, and/or storm drainage system project elements (pipelines, pump stations, treatment systems)
  • Compile engineers' estimates
  • Prepare technical specifications
  • Ability to research and interpret design standards and apply them to specific projects
  • Maintain project files and databases
  • Assist with preparation of project proposals, scopes of service, and fee estimates
  • Support marketing and business development activities
  • Manage, provide technical assistance to, and mentor junior staff

Perform other duties as necessary






Required Skills & Required Experience




  • Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering required
  • Possession of California PE license required
  • Masters degree preferred
  • 10-15 years of water/wastewater engineering experience
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • Hydraulic modeling experience
  • Good organizational and communication skills

Salary Range




The projected range for this position is $125,000-$200,000 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
