Job summary

PRIME AE Group is seeking a Project Manager - Water/Wastewater to lead design and delivery of municipal infrastructure in our Columbus or Akron, Ohio offices. The role combines technical leadership, project management, and client engagement to improve water treatment and wastewater facilities.

The ideal candidate is a licensed PE with 6+ years of water/wastewater experience, strong leadership, and a passion for mentoring staff while building client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain reciprocity.
• 6+ years of experience in water and wastewater engineering.
• Experience with NPDES permitting, regulatory compliance, and infrastructure improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to project teams.
• Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to meet project goals.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets; manage multi-phase delivery.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Support business development and maintain client relationships.
