Job summary

Dibble is seeking a Project Engineer (Utilities) for the Tucson, Arizona office. The role involves preparing detailed design drawings and contract documents for water and wastewater projects, including wells, distribution and collection systems, storage tanks, booster stations, and sewer lift stations.

Candidate should have hydraulic analysis experience and strong leadership to mentor the design team. Requirements include a B.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Engineering, Civil preferred.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Registered Professional Civil Engineer (PE) in Arizona or ability to obtain within six months.
• Arizona driver's license or ability to obtain within 3 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction plans, technical specifications, technical studies and reports.
• Lead/s organize and manage small teams of personnel (EIT, designers, and drafters).
• Provide quality reviews of own work and work by EITs/designers.
• Assist project manager in preparing and managing project schedules and budgets.
• Attend and participate in client meetings.
• Assist in developing marketing proposals.
• Assist in construction administration of projects, including reviewing submittals, RFIs and change orders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support execution of the company strategic plan.
• Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
