Job summary

Inframark is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to design and deliver treatment systems from concept through commissioning for municipal and industrial facilities.

You'll work with operations teams, regulatory agencies, and clients to develop solutions that meet today’s challenges while planning for tomorrow's needs, with company support to advance toward PE licensure and opportunities to lead projects.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in Civil, Environmental, Agricultural, or Chemical Engineering.
• EIT certification minimum; actively pursuing PE licensure.
• 1–3 years of water/wastewater design or related experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and mapping tools (ArcGIS, GPS-X, BioWin).
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex concepts.
• Willingness to travel up to 25–30% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Design water and wastewater treatment systems from concept through commissioning.
• Develop plans, specifications, and calculations for upgrades and new construction.
• Create AutoCAD drawings including PFDs, P&IDs, site plans, and construction details.
• Perform hydraulic modeling and calculations to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with operations teams, regulatory agencies, and clients.
