McClelland Consulting Engineers (MCE), an ESP Company, seeks a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join our Fayetteville, AR team, with potential in Little Rock, AR. You will work on water/wastewater projects across Arkansas, participating in planning, design, and project management within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related engineering field.
• Must be Registered Civil Engineer in the State of Arkansas.
• Knowledge of regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Basic knowledge of water/wastewater treatment processes.
• Initiative and ability to exercise independent judgment.
• Creativity.
• Problem solving.
• Time management and planning.
• Microsoft Office.
• Critical thinking skills.
• Candidates must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company’s driving (MVR) policy.

Responsibilities

• Cost estimating and preliminary design.
• Assisting with funding applications and environmental studies.
• Perform detailed reviews, studies, analyses, etc., and prepares detailed report on results and findings.
• Developing construction plans and specifications.
• Performing detailed design calculations.
• Consulting with clients to obtain and relay information relating to projects.
• Assisting in the management of projects through construction.

Responsible for water/wastewater projects across Arkansas, the Project Engineer is be involved in planning, designing, and assisting with the management of a wide variety of projects. This position will serve as a key part of our water/wastewater team and will have the opportunity to work on challenging turnkey projects with an experienced design team while also gaining valuable knowledge from professional engineers with many years of experience.
