A consulting firm is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join its Industrial team in Dallas, Texas. The role involves applying engineering principles to innovative projects that impact communities. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of experience in environmental or civil engineering, must be a registered Professional Engineer, and have strong skills in Civil 3D and AutoCAD. This position offers a chance to lead significant projects while contributing to positive outcomes for client communities.

Qualifications

• 6 or more years of relevant environmental or civil engineering experience, specifically with water/wastewater treatment or environmental design.
• Must be a registered Professional Engineer.
• Strong working knowledge of Civil 3D and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Prepares planning and design documents in appropriate engineering discipline.
• Coordinates assistant and associate professional staff and supervises lower-level staff.
• Performs process design calculations and prepares cost estimates.
• Develops project scope of work and manages budget reviews.
• Coordinates projects with other teams and maintains project records.
• Prepares technical reports to communicate findings.
• Serves as project manager for projects.
• Collaborates with project managers to ensure on-time deliverables.
• Assists with marketing and prepares project proposals.
