Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Project Engineer - Water/Wastewater in New York. You will join a growing team and apply your expertise to feasibility, design and master planning for water resources.

Responsibilities include producing advanced designs, reviewing hydraulics, and guiding engineers and technicians. A strong background in pump stations and treatment systems is desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in environmental or civil engineering and licensure goals.
• FE/PE licensure preferred but not required.
• 4–6+ years in civil/environmental engineering with water/wastewater focus.
• Experience with pipe networks and pump stations preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and OpenRoads.

Responsibilities

• Independently apply extensive knowledge in water/wastewater engineering.
• Prepare advanced designs and technical data for projects.
• Develop project documents for quality assurance.
• Review hydraulic calculations and utility layouts.
• Lead field investigations and client meetings.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers and staff.
• Coordinate scopes of work, budgets, and schedules.
• Prepare proposals and change orders as needed.
• Support pump station and treatment facility design.
