Position Overview

The Water Wastewater Project Engineer will provide support for civil and environmental engineering projects, including wastewater collection system infrastructure evaluation, rehabilitation, and design, as well as water distribution system design.

Location

Houston, Austin, San Antonio, or Frisco, TX

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • B.S. or M.S. degree in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Texas-Licensed P.E. certification.
  • Estimated local travel and field work for site inspections and meetings with client site representatives and construction contractors.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills for interaction with multi-disciplinary staff, clients, and regulatory agencies.
  • Excellent organization and design planning skills.
  • Self-starter, detail-oriented, and able to see projects through to completion.
  • Proficient in using typical business software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Adobe, etc.).
  • AutoCAD/GIS operating knowledge is preferred.

  • Construction phase engineering services.
  • Preparation of project scopes of work and budget estimates.
  • Coordination with surveying, geotechnical, structural, and electrical engineering subconsultants.
  • Coordination with internal QA/QC reviewers, financial analysts, and administrative staff.

Compensation will vary based on experience, education, skill level, and other factors.

Salary Range

$79,950 - $105,678 - $131,200
