Job summary

Forsgren Associates, Inc. is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to shape the future of water infrastructure. You will design and evaluate treatment systems, lead critical documents, and provide expert guidance to ensure high quality across projects.

With 10+ years of hands-on experience and PE registration (or ability to obtain in 6 months), you will manage resources, collaborate with clients and regulators, and oversee construction observation from concept to completion. A B.S.

Qualifications

• PE registration or ability to obtain in 6 months
• 10+ years hands-on water/wastewater experience
• B.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field)

Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate advanced water and wastewater treatment systems, setting new standards for efficiency and sustainability.
• Lead in the creation and review of critical documents, from construction plans to comprehensive master reports.
• Offer expert technical guidance, ensuring projects and teams adhere to the highest quality standards.
• Manage resources, ensuring projects across regions are delivered on time and to specification.
• Collaborate with clients and regulatory agencies, navigating permits and compliance.
• Take charge of construction observation and management from concept to completion.

What we’re looking for:

• Professional Engineer (PE) registration or ability to obtain in 6 months
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in water and wastewater treatment projects, with a deep understanding of the technical and regulatory landscapes
• B.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field)
