Job summary

City of Appleton is seeking a Process Specialist to optimize water and wastewater operations. You will monitor treatment processes, analyze data, and support regulatory compliance to improve performance.

The role involves collaboration with Operations, Laboratory, Maintenance, Safety, and Management, plus participation in capital projects and asset management programs. A degree or commensurate experience is required, with a minimum of five years in the field and a Wisconsin driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in water/wastewater field.
• Minimum five years in water or wastewater operations.
• Working knowledge of SCADA, CMMS, and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze treatment processes to ensure compliance.
• Assist with troubleshooting, upgrades, and asset management tasks.
• Prepare technical reports and support safety/training initiatives.
