Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. is seeking an Early Career Process Engineer to join our Water Process Engineering and Infrastructure Service Line in Denver, Seattle, or Costa Mesa. You will apply core engineering knowledge to real-world projects across water, wastewater, groundwater, and stormwater systems.

You will develop technical capabilities while learning business, communication, and project delivery skills in a supportive, collaborative environment with a strong client focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical/mechanical/environmental/civil/water resources) required.
• EI/EIT certification or ability to obtain preferred.
• Experience/internship in water/wastewater treatment or related consulting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support process engineering evaluations for water, wastewater, groundwater, and stormwater treatment systems.
• Assist with chemical data review, treatment technology screening, and development of engineering recommendations.
• Support civil and infrastructure design for water and wastewater conveyance, treatment facilities, site layouts, piping systems, and related project components.
• Perform engineering analyses such as planning studies, hydraulic modeling, mass balance evaluations, equipment sizing, and selection.
• Assist with preparation of drawings, specifications, calculations, and design documentation for treatment facilities.
• Conduct fieldwork including site inspections, sampling, monitoring, data collection, and coordination with contractors.
