Qualifications

• Must hold a Georgia Wastewater license (Class/Level 3/2/1).
• Practical experience in water treatment plant operations.
• Strong organization and English communication skills.
• Ability to read/interpret operation manuals and equipment drawings.
• Ability to maintain records and drawings related to work.
• Minimum 21 years of age; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Performs water sample testing to optimize plant efficiency.
• Maintains records/logs of all plant operations.
• Calibrates mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment.
• Diagnoses and repairs pumps, drive units, valves, and related equipment.
• Communicates malfunctions clearly and promptly.
• Understands principles of equipment and troubleshoots proactively.
• Applies knowledge of TSS, turbidity, pH, coagulation for adjustments.
• Works in a team and prioritizes daily tasks.
• Handles water treatment chemicals safely.
• Uses MS Outlook/Excel/Word for documentation.
